Salaries
Generally, the salary is fixed according to the duration of the work. However, depending on certain situations, the salary may be set according to performance or a fixed price.
In all cases, certain rules must be respected:
Legal minimum salary: an employee must be paid a minimum gross monthly amount
The amount of the salary must be in accordance with the collective agreement or agreements
Equal pay for men and women must be respected
A salary should not be discriminated
The salary may also depend on other parameters such as the rules established in a collective agreement or according to a coefficient on hiring an employee.
Company manager
As an entrepreneur, you do not receive a salary in the strict sense of the term. Indeed, you are not an employee of a company, so the rules are different and depend on your situation and your tax system.
There are no rules or obligations in the status of sole proprietorship on the payment of wages. It is therefore up to you to determine a fixed or variable monthly amount depending on your turnover. The most important thing is that your cash flow is positive!
Micro-entrepreneur
Fiscally, the micro-entrepreneur cannot deduct his real expenses for the calculation of his taxable income. The micro-entrepreneur’s remuneration corresponds to his result, which is the difference between his turnover (what he receives from his sales) and the applicable deduction of charges (according to the tax system and the activity carried out – BIC or BNC).
Direct selling distributor
As far as the distributor is concerned – Direct Seller – the rules regarding salary are different. Indeed, as a distributor, you do not receive a salary. But you can earn a sum of money that corresponds to :
Commissions on sales and on the follow-up of the structure (sales network) for the distributor agents
The sum of the sales and the commissions on the realized sales for the distributor Buyers / Resellers
